Sterling Ruby’s S.R. Studio LA. CA. revisits the Vans Old Skool 36 V for their latest OTW drop, wrapping the classic skate silhouette in chaotic elegance. Taking centre stage here is a vivid yellow and black marbled pattern that coats the canvas upper from toe to heel.
Inspired by the process of swirling ink into water, the effect is raw and unfiltered, a hallmark of S.R. Studio’s visual language. Though instantly recognisable as an Old Skool, this version arrives with some reengineering under the hood.
Most notably, the rubber sole unit has been swapped for a Vibram outsole, adding rugged utility and upgraded tread to the streetwear staple.
