Rverslide’s SS26 capsule collection continues to expand with the Digicamo Smock Jacket, a garment that feels as much about storytelling as it does construction. While rooted in South London, the brand pushes its narrative outward here, usung New York as a parellel, both places are defined by creativity.
The Campaign
Shot bt Raphaël Gaultier, the campaign lands in New York during peak spring, with the city carrying the energy of a strong Knicks play-off run. Riverslide casts two locals with no modelling background, following through their daily routines, the places they go, the streets they move through, the environment they follow, everything they know best. Riverslide positions itself as an amplifier of local stories, pushing them beyond the boroughs they originate from.
Military Foundations
At its core, the jacket takes inspiration from military smocks of the 1940s and 1950s, garments originally designed for their function and durability. Riverslide keeps this DNA intact and reinterpreted it further for a contender setting.
The silhouette is relaxed and oversized, made to layer easily. The best element is the custom mint digital camouflage, made entirely in-house. It moves away from traditional camo palettes, adding something brighter.
Functionality is still important tho, the dual-layer kangaroo pouch across the front acts as a storage and defining feature of the silhouette. Metal buckles at the wrist allow for a tailored fit, and a lace fastening system around the neck gives control over how the collar sits.
