Reebok and A Herd of Bison Take the Trailzillo DMX Outdoors

Reebok is reconnecting with Houston-based streetwear label A Herd of Bison for a new footwear and apparel collaboration that takes its design language beyond the everyday. Building on their first partnership in 2021, the two brands introduce the Reebok x A Herd of Bison Trailzillo DMX, a new unisex sneaker accompanied by a technical capsule collection. The collection is designed around adaptability and movement with functional construction and the personal philosophy of AHOB founder Kareem Day.

Founded in 2018, A Herd of Bison has developed its identity through engineered garments that combine practical design with storytelling. Day’s approach centres on the label’s ROAM philosophy, short for Resilience Overcomes Any Mistake. It encourages people to treat setbacks as part of their journey instead of letting them set it back.  That outlook informs the collection, which moves between urban environments and the outdoors through versatile silhouettes and technical fabrics.

At the centre of the collaboration sits the Trailzillo DMX, a new silhouette that gives Reebok’s performance heritage a more exploratory direction. The sneaker comes in black, with purple and lime accents adding contrasts to its appearance. DMX Comfort+ cushioning provides comfort underfoot, while the Zig Kinetica Edge II outsole brings a rugged foundation to changing terrain. A removable compass carabiner reinforces the collaboration’s navigational theme, while an integrated utility pocket on the upper offers space for small essentials.

Technical Apparel Built to Adapt

The apparel collection follows the same practical approach, with each piece designed to offer more than one way to wear it. The Packable Jacket leads the collection, combining a lightweight construction with an all-over topographic-inspired print. Its most distinctive feature is the ability to fold into its own compact carry bag, making it easier to take along when the weather changes. Mesh ventilation panels improve airflow, while a droptail hem adds coverage. A reflective ROAM graphic sits on the hood, and packing the jacket reveals a hidden “Roam Free” graphic.

The Transform Pants take adaptability in a different direction. Made from ripstop fabric, the unisex design features zip-off legs that allow the trousers to convert into shorts. Mesh ventilation panels support airflow, while a functional buckle closure and custom jacquard webbing bring a technical finish to the waist. True North coordinate details add another reference to the collection’s navigation theme, alongside custom Reebok x A Herd of Bison branding.

The capsule is completed by a Graphic Tee, available in Chalk and Black, the relaxed-fit design features a joint Reebok and AHOB logo lock-up, topographic-inspired artwork and True North coordinates that symbolise upward mobility. A large ROAM FREE graphic across the back carries the collection’s message of resilience and exploration.

A Collaboration Rooted in the AHOB Philosophy

For Kareem Day, the partnership provides an opportunity to take the ideas behind A Herd of Bison to a wider audience while keeping the principles that have shaped the label since its foundation. The name itself reflects the balance at the heart of the project: the fluid movement of a herd combined with the strength and determination associated with the bison.

“AHOB was created with this intent: fluid movement like the herd with powerful intention like the bison. Working with Reebok gave us the opportunity to bring that vision to life on a larger scale and amplify our voice within the industry,” said Kareem Day, Founder of A Herd of Bison. “Getting to preview the collection at the Black Footwear Forum alongside a legend like April Walker last September and seeing the response from the community made this collaboration even more meaningful. This is where AHOB is heading, and where it should be.”

The Reebok x A Herd of Bison collection first launched through aherdofbison.com on 1 November 2026, with a wider release via Reebok.com following on 6 November at 10AM EST.
