The Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 signals a new milestone in the evolution of Nike’s latest Air Max silhouette. Since debuting on Air Max Day, the DN8 has quickly gained ground as one of Nike’s boldest new designs, with collaborations from Better Gift Shop and Cav Empt already pushing its limits.
Patta’s entry into the lineage feels like the most significant yet, bringing the Dutch streetwear label’s reputation for storytelling and disruptive design to a sneaker already full of presence. Early images of the collaboration highlight a striking royal blue patent leather upper, glossy and unapologetic in its finish. The bold blue wraps around the sculpted lines of the DN8, while black and silver overlays help frame the silhouette and tone down its shine in places.
A metallic Swoosh carabiner clipped into the lacing system pushes the design into experimental territory, serving both as a statement detail and a nod to Patta’s playful approach to utility. Branding appears with restraint but impact: Patta’s script logo on the tongue and again printed across one of the Air chambers in the heel.
