Patta has featured on this website countless times from their Air Max 1 to their Joe Freshgoods collaboration. Founded in Amsterdam and built on a love of music, sport and community. The brand has always been independent moving at its own pace, and always remained connected to their Surinamese roots. The brand has always been about connecting and producing product that represents the team that shapes its that vision is translated into their Spring/Summer 2026 collection with an Americana twist.
Sport as an Inspiration
Starting with the jerseys, which serve as a standout centerpiece in this collection. Drawing heavily on American football aesthetics, the jerseys introduce a sense of weight and proportion that gives them real presence on the body. Two distinct colorways have been released: a bold blue and black, and a softer pink and black. Both feature vertical striping and are accented with the Patta flag on the crest. Above the flag, two patches add further storytelling: one reads “lobi libi,” Sranan Tongo for “love life,” while the other is a nod to Patta’s origins, referencing the brand’s first store, founded in 2004. These subtle details tie the garments to the label’s history while embedding their narrative, making each jersey more than just a visual statement.

The graphic tees in this collection lean into the familiar Patta DNA. Longsleeves in white and black display a dense variation of the brand’s logos across the garment, arranged in a seemingly sporadic pattern reminiscent of sponsor-heavy NASCAR suits. This chaotic logo placement emphasises movement and energy while celebrating the brand’s legacy. The Patta team approached the designs by remixing their own logos, drawing from archival sources and experimenting with custom typography to create rooted in their history.
On the chest, a standout logo cleverly doubles as a “race number,” reading Patta 04 – 24. The design takes inspiration from race car aesthetics, where numbers aren’t just functional they tell a story. Here, Patta transforms the chest logo into a symbolic marker, celebrating both time and place, paying homage to the brand’s journey. The numbers reference the founding of Patta in 2004 and its continued evolution, marking 20 years of impact. It’s a subtle yet powerful nod to the legacy, being 20 years young.
Denim Made for Every Day
Denim plays a large role this season as always, across the collection Patta introduces denim in multiple washes, each with a different filter. Lighter washes look sun-faded bringing a softness to the collection. There’s also a darker denim to match with some other pieces in the collection. All the denim pieces include the typical Patta branding, most notably on the light blue jeans, were the logo is screen printed. The light wash jeans feature a small embroidered Patta logo on the right back pocket.
This same embroidered logo can be found on a newly introduced soft fuchsia denim set that is a must for us! The fuchsia denim feels like a wild decision, but even here Patta doesn’t go full out. The colour isn’t disrupting, and mixes well with the broader palette of sand, blue, green, brown and red. The jacket is created with the rest of the collection in mind. It works well beneath the knits, paired with the sport-inspired jerseys and alongside the leather jackets. The denim holds everything together.
Jackets and Tracksuits
To match the fuchsia denim pants, Patta introduces a fuchsia hooded bomber, a piece as bold as the jeans but that balance presence with versatility. Constructed from a heavy material, the jacket has a light-wash finish that softens the intensity of the colour, making it feel more wearable while still commanding attention. Branding is kept minimal, with only a small Patta logo on the front, echoing the embroidered detail found on the denim set. The jacket is clearly designed with the rest of the collection in mind. Its weight and structure allow it to layer seamlessly, complement the sporty proportions of the jerseys, and sit alongside the leather jackets without clashing. The fuchsia isn’t overwhelming. Like the denim, the bomber feels deliberate, bold yet restrained, striking but versatile, and ultimately a piece that grounds the fuchsia accents across the collection.
Tracksuits have always been a key part of Patta’s design language, and that continues in SS26. The track top jacket takes clear inspiration from sportswear, with a small Patta 2004 logo screen-printed on the front, topped with three stars, a subtle nod to classic football jackets. On the back, a bold Patta logo stretches from shoulder to shoulder, giving the piece a strong, statement-making presence. The jacket is offered in a black and cream colourway, and for the black version, Patta has designed matching pants, creating a fully coordinated tracksuit set that balances heritage-inspired detailing with contemporary streetwear aesthetics.
Elsewhere in the collection is a 3M Reflective Waterproof Rain Jacket, a simple piece, but an essential one. Branding is kept minimal, limited to a small Patta logo with a tree underneath on the front, allowing the functionality to speak for itself. Fully waterproof and reflective, the jacket is engineered for rainy evenings outdoors, proving that Patta can blend practicality with understated design without needing to rely on heavy branding.
Rounding out the outerwear offerings is a light-brown Varsity Jacket, which highlights Patta’s playful take on classic collegiate style. The front features the brand’s iconic houndstooth logo, while the back carries a large “26” print alongside the text “Team Patta” and “You can’t knock the hustle,” emphasising the drive, determination, and energy that sports – and the Patta ethos, embody. The jacket bridges nostalgia and contemporary storytelling, offering both style and narrative in a single piece.
The Campaign
The campaign wraps up with a film featuring Nigerian artist Zaylevelten performing Guide Pass, bringing the collection full circle. Music has always been at the heart of Patta, and Zaylevelten’s performance is all about connection, just like the brand itself. It’s a reminder of how Patta has always used music as a language to bring people together. The film captures moments around Nigeria that are genuine, letting the clothes exist naturally in the world around them. A fitting cross cultural moment from Europe, American and then to Africa. The collection isn’t just about what you wear, it’s about how you live in it.
