Patta AW25 Collection: A Celebration of Heritage, Sport, and Streetwear

Amsterdam-based streetwear powerhouse Patta has long stood as a symbol of cultural crossover, community, and thoughtful design. Growing up, it has long been a fixture in London’s stores, and their AW25 collection truly resonated with us. We felt compelled to share some of our favourite pieces. Patta’s design philosophy is rooted in authenticity. As the brand states, their approach is driven “out of love and necessity rather than profit and novelty,” a guiding principle that has shaped every drop and collaboration. Their latest AW collection is no exception, seamlessly blending archival sportswear inspiration with contemporary streetwear sensibilities.

Founded in 2004 by Edson Sabajo and Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt, Patta began as a sneaker boutique, its name a nod to Surinamese slang for “shoe,” reflecting the founders’ heritage. What started as a carefully curated sneaker destination quickly evolved into a full-fledged lifestyle label, spanning clothing, music initiatives, the Patta Running Team, and the Patta Foundation, which empowers youth through cultural and educational programs.

Produced by Urban Syndicate Studios, the project came together with creative direction and styling by @NeeshaBadass, photographer: @Suede_baby and modelled by: @Skyy_i

Patta All Star Football Jersey (Fuchsia Red)

Our first pick because it perfectly captures the energy of 90s US football while staying true to Patta’s storytelling. What drew us in is the bold fuchsia red, it’s impossible to ignore, and the way the “Lobi Libi” lettering on the back adds that signature Patta heart. The boxy fit and lightweight material make it effortlessly wearable, moving through the city. For us, this jersey is the perfect blend of repurposed sportswear; it’s a nod to Patta’s roots and the energy that’s always inspired the brand!

Patta Script Logo Satin Varsity Jacket (Bistro Green)

We love this piece because it’s a favorite that never feels tired, there’s something timeless about a classic varsity jacket that they never go out of fashion and last a lifetime. The satin finish and water-resistant fabric make it premium while staying practical for city life. For us, the quilted Primaloft lining is a warm hug, comfort and confidence when layering through the seasons. The bold Patta script across the chest instantly grabs attention and is in no way subtle, giving the jacket personality and a sense of pride. It perfectly balances heritage silhouette with a modernenergy, something you’ll reach for again and again and that green is versatile!

Patta Athletic Nylon Track Jacket (Black)

We love the black version for its sleek, understated versatility. It’s effortless to layer over almost anything, and the subtle contrast piping gives it just enough character without overpowering your look. The embroidered Patta logo and YKK zipper add that signature attention to detail we always appreciate. This is a go-to piece for anyone who has bold kicks
or a pair of pants they have been putting off wearing.

Patta Floral Patchwork Hooded Sweater (Multi)

A real statement of creativity that pushes the comfort zone ever so slightly. Every panel feels like its own story, yet they come together seamlessly. The floral patchwork caught our eye immediately; it’s bold without feeling overdone. Made from 450gsm cotton loopback, it’s cozy and substantial, giving that satisfying weight you want in a hoodie. The Patta branding is bold yet ties it back to the brand’s roots, creating a perfect weighted modern silhouette. For us, this sweater is all about playful layering and expressing some personality through pattern and texture.

Patta Athletic Nylon Track Jacket Boysenberry

The boysenberry color immediately caught our eye, the opposite of the black yet the exact same shape. it’s bold, playful, and a little unexpected, making it stand out in a crowd. The same loose fit and technical polyester ensure it’s comfortable, while the contrast piping pops even more against this vibrant hue. This version has an energy and personality the black doesn’t and is the perfect way to inject colour into your everyday jacket rotation.

Patta Washed Canvas Jacket (Black)

Redefining classic workwear, the Washed Canvas Jacket is crafted from heavy cotton duck canvas treated with an acid wash for a worn-in look. Quilted Primaloft Silver insulation provides warmth, while bar-stitch branding on the chest and back adds subtle detail. Functional touches include YKK zippers, snap-button cuffs, adjustable hem with Patta-branded buttons, and side pockets. A true blend of utility and style.

Patta Whole Lotta Labels Denim Jacket (Light Blue Denim)

We picked this jacket because it takes classic workwear and turns it into something individual and expressive. The embroidered Patta patches scattered across the denim
immediately caught our eye, they feel like little stories stitched into the fabric, celebrating the brand’s identity. The traditional wash gives it that worn-in, loved feel, making it feel familiar from the moment you put it on. It’s the intricate details, the nods to heritage, and the bold graphic style that make this jacket feel like a lived-in statement you can wear every day.

Final Thoughts

Patta’s AW collection perfectly showcases the brand’s dedication to heritage, community, and thoughtful design. From bold football jerseys and satin varsity jackets to patchwork hoodies, technical track jackets, and graphic denim, each piece tells its own story while fitting seamlessly into a versatile wardrobe. What we love most is how every item blends references, inspirations, and cultural nods, there’s so much detail and personality in each piece that you could spend hours exploring it all. This collection is for those who value authenticity and pieces with cultural resonance, but it’s also versatile enough to be worn day-to-day, making it both meaningful and practical.
