Nike celebrates the enduring legacy of the Air Max line with a striking reinterpretation of a fan favourite, the Air Max 95 “Reverse Neon.” This modern remix flips the iconic OG gradient, starting with crisp white at the midsole and shifting upward into rich greys and blacks, capped off with unmistakable neon Volt accents.
Debuted at an exclusive MoMA Design Store event in SoHo, NYC, the Reverse Neon arrives with a sense of cultural reverence. In collaboration with filmmaker Ben Solomon, Nike highlighted the shoe’s deep roots in 90s New York—from the ski jackets on Canal Street to the raw energy of downtown streetwear.
Designed with Sergio Lozano’s original sketches in mind, this edition updates the classic with hairy suede overlays, a breathable black mesh base, and includes three sets of laces for custom styling. It’s a new spin with the same soul, a bold evolution that still pays homage to the silhouette that changed sneaker culture forever.
