Nike is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95 by reintroducing its iconic “Big Bubble” design. The upcoming Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Triple Black” offers a sleek, all-black design.
This modern iteration remains faithful to Sergio Lozano’s original design, with subtle updates to the Air units. The 1995 version utilised sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) for cushioning, whereas the 2025 model adopts nitrogen, aligning with Nike’s sustainability goals.
While the original model showcased more pronounced Air units, the updated version integrates them seamlessly into the midsole.
The “Triple Black” Air Max 95 features a fully leather upper, blending smooth, safari, and snakeskin textures for added depth and dimension.
The signature wavy panels remain intact, maintaining the shoe’s bold, layered aesthetic. A glossy black midsole houses the signature Air units, giving the sneaker a sleek and uniform finish.
This release is part of Nike’s broader celebration of the Air Max 95’s legacy, which includes other notable colourways such as the OG “Neon” with a Big Bubble.
