Nike Air Jordan 3 x SoleFly

The Miami-based boutique SoleFly reunites with Jordan Brand to pay tribute to the city, its cultural undercurrent and the street heritage that defines both brands. First teased during a high-profile moment, a Hurricanes vs Notre Dame game, with SoleFly founders Carlos Prieto and Daniel Hidalgo joined by Miami legends Andre Johnson and Ed Reed, the collaboration is steeped in community and local pride.

The design draws direct inspiration from Maimi’s unique visual identity, a white leather base provides clarity and simplicity, while rich green suede overlays and a bold orange heel panel channel the iconic University of Miami Hurricanes colourway without borrowing from official team licensing. Vintage touches anchor the look, an aged-cream midsole, the classic “Nike Air” heel tab, and subtle SoleFly branding on the heel ensure authenticity. Extras matter too, a co-branded heel-tag and a set of spare laces in white, green, and orange round out the packaging. 

Importantly, the release reconnects with SoleFly’s earliee collaborations with Jordan Brand in 2014. That project, a Jordan 3 themed around a Florida lottery motif, never saw a full retail release and became one of the elusive modern Jordan 3s in the market.
