NASCAR, America’s premier motorsport authority has teamed up with global streetwear brand Anti Social Social Club for a limited-edition capsule collection. This is their debut collaboration, bringing together the fast-paced world of motorsports and the fast-growing world of streetwear. The result is a unique collection that captures the spirit of both brands.
Anti Social Social Club is one of the most recognisable streetwear brands, founded in 2014 the brand was founded by Neek Lurk, with just 12 hoodies the brand turned into a global phenomenon. On the other side of the collaboration is NASCAR. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. They are the governing body for the number one form of motorsports in the United States. NASCAR oversees a fast portfolio of different racing events and 14 major motorsports facilities across the United States.
Launching at NASCAR Playoff Weekend in Las Vegas
The collaboration officially launches on Saturday, 11th of October, during the NASCAR Playoff Weekend in Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It is designed to capture the excitement and spectacle of the racing season. The capsule collection will also be available via Anti Social Social Club’s website.
The collection exists of a variety of different items, including hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, hats, helmets and other NASCAR inspired items that carry the energy of motorsports. Each garment combines Anti Social Social Club’s iconic graphics with NASCAR’s branding. To further celebrate the partnership both brands will unveil a custom NASCAR vehicle with bespoke livery, which will be showcased at Las Vegas Motor Speedway throughout the race weekend.
A Shared Vision
Speaking of the collaboration, Megan Malayter, Vice President of Licensing and Consumer Products at NASCAR, empathised the importance of the collaboration: “NASCAR and Anti Social Social Club are coming together to create something fresh, bold, and unapologetic. Both streetwear and motorsports thrive on energy, culture, and individuality,” she explained: “This drop brings those worlds into the same lane. We’re excited to see fans rock the collection trackside and beyond, repping NASCAR in a way that speaks to today’s style and culture.”
