Mizuno Sportstyle Wave Daichi LS Made For the Mountains and the City

As winter sports begins to take over once again, Mizuno Sportstyle introduces a new silhouette designed for movement. The Wave Daichi LS, launching through Milan’s iconic concept store 10 Corso Como.

The Wave Daichi LS sits between a trail runner and urban sneaker. It is made for movement in the city. The silhouette signals a new chapter in Mizuno’s ongoing exploration of lifestyle footwear.

Design Language

The Wave Daichi LS has an upper that reflects its hybrid positioning. Premium synthetic leather panels sit across the medial and lateral sides, giving some structure and durability to the sneaker. The overlays are layered onto a chequered double-layer mesh. A reflective speed-lace fastening system follows through the centre of the sneaker, supported by metallic eyelets that give meaning to the technical detailing. TPU reinforcements at the heel and toe give protection and durability.

The Wave Daichi LS

The Wave Daichi LS comes as a lifestyle extension of Mizuno’s well-known Daichi trail-running family. The key elements are kept from the performance line but on the LS line they are reinterpreted for a broader audience. The Speed-lace fastening, technical mesh, premium synthetic leather and TPU details are still available. Underfoot, the Wave Daichi LS builds on the familiar. The midsole cushioning and outsole tooling still gives grip and support.

10 Corso Como

Since opening its doors in 1991 under the vision of Carla Sozzani, the Milan institution 10 Corso Como has been building a reputation as one of fashion’s most influential spaces. Unlike conventional retail spaces, 10 Corso Como offers an environment that offers more of a slow engagement. Fashion, art, books and objects all coexist in one space.
