Mizuno Sportstyle Unveils the Wave Prophecy 13.2 for SS26

To celebrate Men’s Paris Fashion Week in style, Japanese powerhouse Mizuno Sportstyle has debuted a new silhouette for Spring/Summer 2026: the Wave Prophecy 13.2. This release marks a special moment for the brand as it continues to honour its past while introducing new innovations into its lifestyle collection. The Wave Prophecy line has long been synonymous with technical excellence and design experimentation, and the 13.2 version serves as a tribute to the original silhouettes.

The Legacy Continues

Building upon the Wave Prophecy LS silhouette and the Infinity Silo linaege, the Wave Prophecy 13.2 takes inspiration from the family of releases tha preceded it. Nicknamed the “Young Brother”, the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 13.2 the sneaker honours what came before it. The 13.2 isn’t a reiteration tho, the silhouette celebrates the people and stories that have shaped the Wave Prophecy’s narrative over the years, highlighting Mizuno’s Sportstyle’s dedication to innovation and community.

Design and Technology

At the heart of the Wave Prophecy 13.2 is a full-length Infinity Wave sole unit. This signature cushioning system has defined the Wave Prophecy lineage for over two decades. The unique cushioning system is engineered to provide responsive energy return and stability. Unlike conventional midsoles, the Infinity Wave integrates a flexible and supportive plate that disperses impact evenly.

Above the sole, the Wave Prophecy 13.2 introduces a combination or new upper materials, from technical mesh to premium synthetic overlays. The mesh offers lightweight ventilation, while the structured overlays provide support and visual depth. The lacing system has been refined as well to offer a secure comfortable fit.
