Sustainable Practices
mfpen places a strong emphasis on sustainability, incorporating various eco-friendly practices into their production processes:
- Surplus fabrics: by utelising surplus materials, mfpen reduces waste and limits the need for new fabric production, offering unique pieces crafted from high quality leftover materials sourced from European mills.
- Recycled Fibres: The brand incorporates pre- and post consumer wool, cashmere, cotton and polyester fibres into new yarns for knitwear and jersey, promoting a circular fashion economy.
- Organic and Natural Fibres: When deadstock or recycled materials are unavailable, mfpen uses GOTS-certified organic cotton for jersey items and sources natural fibres from low-impact sources, such as linen, RWS-certified wool and hemp.
