Karhu is preparing to release its second drop of the Spring/Summer season this Friday.
Fusion 2.0 Lily White / Molé
The Fusion 2.0 in Lily White and Molé is a revival of a silhouette that was first released in 1996, when Karhu waa establishing itself an an innovator in performance running footwear. This modern interpretation respects the proportions and layered complexity of the original.
The upper has breathable mesh and premium suede overlays, while the Lily White base keeps the silhouette fresh. All of this happens will the Molé accents introduce an earthy style to the design. Subtle reflective derails are integrated throughout the pair. Rope laces add a small technical touch to this Fusion 2.0. Underfoot the EVA midsole adds cushioning.
Fusion XT Bright White / Naval Academy
The Fusion XT in Bright White and Naval Academy draws directly from Karhu’s cross-training heritage of the mid-1990s, a period when athletic footwear began to blur the lines between specialised sport and versatile lifestyle use. This silhouette captures that transitional energy, combining robust performance elements with a bold visual identity that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
The Bright White base establishes a foundation, while the Naval Academy overlays introduce a deep navy contrast that sharpens the overall profile. The iconic Karhu “M” logo stands prominently at the side, reinforcing the brand’s Finnish roots and long-standing reputation for technical innovation. Layered panels create dimension to the sneakers.
Performance is still central to the Fusion XT’s look. A heel counter adds enhances the support while the cushioned midsole is added for support. The fixed tongue structure contributes to a secure feel.
Fuxion XT Icicle / Oak Buff
The Icicle / Oak Buff colourway is a bit cleaner than the other two. Cool icy blue mesh underlays and warm oak buff suede overlays are added for balance. This gives a special depth to the shoes. The same stabilishing heel support and cushioned midsole is found in this colourway. The outsole is constructed from durable rubber, for grip.
Legacy 96 White Sand / Beach
The Legacy 96 is a tribute to one of Karhu’s most enduring silhouette made. Originally introduced as a performance runner in the 1990s. The modern iteration keeps the spirit of the original release. The upper has a combination of mesh, suede and leather overlays. White Sand gives the paie a creamy, sun-washed base while the Beech accents add some warmth to the pair. The cushioned midsole, complemented by Karhu’s Air Cushion technology in the heel is added for a supportive feel.
