A familiar partnership is back. The team over at Hartcopy and adidas Originals revisit an old classic. They went back to the drawing board for a new take on the BW Army, following the success of their earlier white-and-gum release with two new, lowkey colourways. This time the focus moves to a black and a grey version.
The BW Army itself is already known for its heritage, originally made as a military training shoe, before finding its place in football terraces and daily rotations. Here, that history remains intact. Both colourways are constructed with premium leather across the upper and lining, giving the shoe a noticeably softer feel.
On the inside, the fully leather-lined changes something. It softens the step-in feel and forms more comfortably over time. There’s no loud details, just two clean understated colourways. The release is done simply, first exclusively through Hartcopy, before arriving on adidas platforms later on.
