Soho’s sneaker powerhouse Footpatrol returns with its latest collaboration alongside adidas Consortium, bringing the attention to one of the best-known silhouettes in the history of the German giant, the Superstar. Dressed in black ostrich-embossed leather, the upper addd contrast. The Three Stripes have been upgraded using a snakeskin pattern, while the lateral side is made out of a polished black leather. Gold foil adidas lettering bring an extra luxury touch to the blacked-out palette. On the insoles, Footpatrol’s recognizable London style comes to life, laser-etched FP and Gasmask logos sit proudly to tie it all together.
FootPatrol x adidas, a longtime partnership
Footpatrol’s relationship with adidas runs deep. It is built on trust, a shared curiosity and a mutual respect for heritage design. From their earlier reinterpretations of silhouettes like the Futurecraft 4D, ZX 800, the Soho-based retailer knows how to tell a story through collaborations. For a silhouette as strong as the Superstar reinvention wasn’t the goal. Footpatrol knows what makes the Superstar a special model. The London-based shop is well aware simplicity is what makes it perfect.
FootPatrol was founded in 2002 in the heart of Soho. What began as a small, independent store catering to collectors has grown into a cornerstone of UK street culture. Footpatrol is the place where community, storytelling and sneakerfans come together.
Adidas on the other hand is a German sportswear giant, founded in 1949 by Adi Dassler. What started with building performance shoes in a Herzogenaurach workshop, has grown into a worldwide phenomenon.
