Fera has released their second drop of this season and this time the brand focuses on the coast, drawing from long days spent between open water and shoreline rituals. The collection is shaped by the pace of seaside living. Early mornings, shifting tides and the sinple routine of cooking fresh mackerel over a beachside BBQ are all part of the mood.
Material Choices
The collection focuses on the Saltmarsh Knit, a piece that captures the collection’s ethod in its purest form. Made from a cotton base blended with recycled nylon, the yarn itself carries significance, produced using reclaimed ghost fishing nets recovered from the sea.
Japanese Textiles
Betond the knitwear, Fera continues to focus on fabric sourcing. The Cuban Collar Shirt and Zephyr Jacket come in a yarn-dyed dobby cloth, made by a 78-year old mill based in Osaka, Japan. Across both silhouettes is a lightweight and breathable base. This allows them to be used for every season.
Details
The short-sleeve Embroidered Dune Shirt focuses on the details. At first glance, it looks clean and simple, but upon closer inspection it reveals a tonal fishinb boag stitched along the hem.
For the Fera team, Spring and Summer means the start of trout season, and the collection focuses on that season. That’s why they included a wading vest in the collection.
