Fera Returns to the British Countryside for Its Second Workwear Collection

Following last year’s first workwear instalment, the British brand returns with a second collection that digs deeper into the relationship between premium menswear, workwear and the culture surrounding Britian’s rural landscape. Fera continues to find ways of pulling references into the present, creating clothing that feels equally at home walking through the countryside and navigating the city.

There is plenty to draw from. Britian’s countryside is packed with decades of clothing, craft, traditions and character, yet much of that culture remains largely untouched by contemporary fashion. Fera sees the opportunity in that gap, taking familiar references and stripping them back into something more considered.

The Uniform Returns

At the centre of the collection is the Uniform Jacket, returning from last year’s release with new fabrications and an updated fit.

Available in Denim alongside Washed Green, Black, Brown and Navy, the jacket remains one of the clearest expressions of Fera’s approach to workwear. Its straightforward construction gives it the feel of something that could have existed for decades.

The matching Uniform Trousers follow the same philosophy. Available in Denim, Washed Green, Black, Brown and Navy, they can be worn alongside the jacket as a complete set or seperated into different combinations.

New Layers, Same Philosophy

Fera also expands the collection with several new silhouettes, which adds more variation while still keeping the same understated approach the brand is known for.

The Paramount Zip Cardigan is one of the standout additions. Releasing in Navy, it brings a more relaxed interpretation of traditional knitwear into the collection, sitting somewhere between a cardigan and an outer layer.

Then there’s the Fast Dogs Crewneck, offered in Grey and Navy, which adds a graphic touch without disrupting the collection’s character. The Peewit Knit pushes the colour palette further, releasing in Bonfire, Navy and Mint, giving a bit more personality to the collection as autumn approaches.

The Quarter Zip, meanwhile, lands in Grey and Stone, offering another straightforward layer that can be worn over a T-shirt.

Country Shirts, Reworked

Shirting remains an important part of the collection, with Fera leaning into some of the patterns and materials most closely associated with traditional British wardrobes.

The Avon shirt, releasing in Blue Check, while the Striped Denim Shirt takes the collection further towards workwear. The Japanese Flannel Shirt in Green brings a softer, more tactile option, with each shirt designed to work independently.

Elsewhere, the Waffle Long Sleeve, relased in Off-White and Navy, while the simple Workwear T-Shirt is available in Green and White. These are the foundations of the wardrobe, uncomplicated pieces designed to be layered or worn repeatedly, instead of as statement pieces.

The collection ranges from the £50 Workwear T-Shirt through to the £185 Paramount Zip Cardigan, with the full selection spanning jackets, trousers, knitwear, shirting, sweatshirts and everyday layering pieces.
