Two brands from two different countries, one American, one Canadian, came together for Autumn/Winter 2025. Alpha Industries and October’s Very Own (OVO) is an unexpected collab. Founded in 1959 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Alpha Industries started as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense and supplied the department with field coats, fight jackets and other garments built to military specifications. On the other side of the border October’s Very Own (OVO) can be found. A brand co-founded by Toronto based rapper Drake, Oliver El-Khatib and Noah “40” Shebib. Rooted in Toronto’s creative scene the label has found a way to merge luxury and streetwear.
Built for Function
At the core of the collection site the Alpha Industries x OVO CWU-45/P Bomber Jacket in a black colourway and rep blue colourway. Originally crafted as a cold-weather flight jacket for U.S. Air Force pilots, the silhouette has been reinterpreted through OVO’s creative lens. The outerwear collection is finished with the Alpha Industries x OVO ALS/92 Liner in a black and OG Green. It is lightweight but perfect to keep you warm.
Essentials Crafted to Perfection
Besides the outerwear pieces, the capsule expands into a series of garment-dyed essentials. The Garment Dye Hoodie and Fleece Pant come in a Olive Green and Blue Night colourway, while the Garment Dye Sweatshirt and Owl T-shirt, an classic OVO piece, that’s present in almost every collection, come in a Black Sand colourway. Accessories include the ALPHA x OVO Key Clip in a classic black and a Watch Cap in a Rep Blue and OG Green colour. Small accessories, but they were made to complement the outfit.
Availability
The Alpha Industries x OVO collection will be available from October 10th on alphaindustries.eu, in-store at Alpha Industries in their store in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and through a selection of retailers across the world.
