adidas Originals and BAPE Celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 With a New Collection

Football and streetwear have always shared a close relationship for decades, and a few collaborations represent that crossover quite like adidas Originals and BAPE. Returning for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the two brands have revealed a new capsule that combines football heritage and BAPE’s unmistakable design language, taking inspiration from one of adidas’ most iconic kit templates and also introducing an unexpected take on one of the brand’s newest sneakers.

Designed to celebrate both the tournament itself and the fans who bring it to life, the collection moves between stadium culture and everyday style, pairing bold jerseys with exclusive colourways of the adidas EVO SL.

Teimgeist Returns with a BAPE Twist

At the heart of the collection are two football jerseys built around adidas’ legendary Teimgeist template, originally introduced back in 2006 for the FIFA World Cup. Widely regarded as one of the brand’s most recognisable kit designs, the silhouette is back through BAPE’s signature ABC CAMO.

The Home Jersey pays tribute to the three host nations of the FIFA World Cup, combining green, red and blue Trefoil ABC CAMP with A BATHING APE crest and three BAPE STA logos across the front. Additional details include the brand’s founding year, ‘93, across the back and 2W0G2M6 printed on the lower hem as a nod to the tournament. This edition will be available exclusively across North America and Latin America.

The Away Jersey adopts a softer palette of grey, gold and pink ABC CAMO while still keeping the same branding and construction, celebrating football’s global community, instead of a specific location. Unlike the Home edition, the Away Jersey will receive a worldwide release, excluding both North and Latin America.

Exclusive EVO SL Colourways

Accompanying the jerseys is a customised version of the adidas EVO SL, the lightweight lifestyle sneaker inspired by adidas’ performance running innovation. Each pair features mismatched colour blocking that mirrors its corresponding jersey.

The Home edition combines blue and green tones, while the Away version introduces white, light blue, pink and gold across the upper. Both pairs have oversized BAPE STA branding on alternating sides alongside A BATHING APE wording in both English and Japanese, this reinforces the collaboration.

Launch Details

The adidas Originals x BAPE FIFA World Cup 2026 collection launches on 27 June via the adidas CONFIRMED app, BAPE STORE, BAPE.com and retailers worldwide.
