To usher in 2026, adidas Basketball and Anthony Edwards unveil a limited AE 2 “Year of the Horse”, paying homage to the Chinese zodiac with craftsmanship and symbolism.
The shoe glimmers in metallic silver and tan, offset with baby-blue accents and gold trim that runs through the overlays. Silver mesh panels and reflective details add shine, while creamy leather overlays soften the contrast. Inside, a light-blue neoprene bootie provides warmth and structure, finished with a gold horse emblem stitched proudly onto the tongue, a symbol of strength, freedom and ambition.
Technically, the AE 2 stays true to its lineage. The sculpted midsole, responsive traction, and carbon-stabilised plate all remain, joined by small upgrades: a smoother heel transition, enhanced padding, and a more refined underfoot feel.
