New Balance

Action Bronson x New Balance 992 “Baklava Tan”

After a relatively quiet start to 2025, Action Bronson is making headlines once again with the unveiling of his latest collaboration with New Balance: the tan “Baklava” 992.

Revealed during the final day of his Baklava Megastore pop-up in New York City, this new iteration adds a fresh chapter to the rapper’s ongoing partnership with the Boston-based footwear brand.

The sneaker boasts a premium construction, featuring rich brown suede and nubuck overlays that provide a rugged yet refined style.

Bright orange mesh underlays and a royal blue tongue inject vibrant pops of colour, while rope-style laces add an outdoorsy touch. Reflective accents throughout the upper pay homage to the 992’s running heritage, ensuring visibility and style.

Underfoot, a pitch-black sole unit offers a stark contrast, allowing the upper’s colours to stand out prominently. The lateral heel is adorned with the signature “Baklava” branding, a nod to Bronson’s Queens roots and his multifaceted creative ventures.

The Baklava Megastore pop-up, hosted at Shopify’s event space in SoHo, was a celebration of all things Bronson. Fans were treated to a curated selection of his previous New Balance collaborations, exclusive merchandise, and even culinary delights from the man himself.

While an official release date for the tan “Baklava” 992 has yet to be announced, it’s anticipated to drop later this year, with a potential exclusive release through Action Bronson’s own channels.
